Gold level users and above can now seamlessly integrate a large selection of Exero Vet videos directly into their content and modules, elevating the learning experience to new heights.
What's New?
Pyxis has always been at the forefront of veterinary education with our Exero Vet app, and now Pyxis Pro users can take advantage of this. Gold tier users and above can now access and incorporate over 600 high-quality veterinary medicine videos from Exero Vet's extensive database. This integration allows for a more immersive and comprehensive learning experience, all within the familiar Pyxis Pro environment.
Why Exero Vet?
If you didn’t know, Pyxis’ flagship product, Exero Vet, is an ever-growing database of veterinary med videos, covering a wide spectrum of processes and procedures. From intricate surgical techniques to fundamental skills like gowning and gloving, Exero Vet offers content that caters to various skill levels and specialties within veterinary medicine. After filming on location at eight different partner vet schools for almost 10 years, we’re bringing these helpful resources to our Pyxis Pro users.
How Does It Work?
When creating a new module in Pyxis Pro, users have the option to select “Add Exero Vet Video”. When selected, users will then be prompted to browse the Exero Vet video library within the app. When searching through video titles, users will also be able to see a brief description of the content, as well as a thumbnail from the video.
This allows for quick and easy selection of the most relevant content for your courses or modules.
Enhanced Learning Experience
Did you know viewers retain 95% of a video's message, compared to 10% when reading text and that 80% of viewers can recall what they learned from video? By integrating Exero Vet videos directly into Pyxis Pro, we're creating a more seamless and efficient learning environment. Learners can now access high-quality, relevant video content without leaving the platform, maintaining focus and improving retention.
Availability and Access
This exciting new feature is available to all Pyxis Pro Gold level users and above. If you're not currently at the Gold level, now might be the perfect time to consider an upgrade to access this valuable resource!
What About Other Users?
While the Exero Vet integration is exclusive to Gold level users and above, all Pyxis Pro users retain the ability to add links to external videos. This means you can still incorporate video content from sources like YouTube or other platforms, allowing for flexibility in content creation across all user levels.
